Christmas at LRBC

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

Every year, we love to see the magic of Christmas shining in the eyes of our children. Their excitement touches all of us as they eagerly anticipate savory meals, sweet treats, and brightly wrapped packages.

But for Christians, Christmas is much more than magic. We belong to an absolute, sovereign God who gave His Son Jesus Christ to die so we could live! In perfect humility and obedience, Jesus left His heavenly home, became one of us, and walked beside us. And He walks beside us still! Through Jesus we are healed, restored, and given everlasting life. No earthly gift matches that!

Christmas shows us how much we are loved! It tells of our true destiny.

Will you join us as we celebrate the birth of our Lord?

5:30 PM, Sunday, December 15 – Meal and gift exchange
2:00 PM, Sunday, December 22 – Christmas eve service

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

“For unto us a child is born” – G.F. Handel
